Meera along with the Rajasthan government has been providing free legal aid and counseling services since 2011, at the Mahila Police Thana , Ratanada ,Jodhpur and. Meera has taken concerted efforts to help meet the ends of justice by the way of settlement but also making sure that the volition of the victim is not given away in the process. Meera ,has always been the harbinger of women rights and seeks to spread awareness on issues dowry deaths, widow remarriages, abusive domestic relationships female infanticide, discrimination of a girl child.
Of all the voices demanding women rights in parity with that of men, Meera surely has the loudest voice.
Legal awareness drives, understanding of women rights , easing of the mental agony b providing healthy conversations in guise of counseling, focusing on their mental well being and respecting their privacy at all times are some pertinent things that Meera has been working on and will continue to do so.
